The M.V. Uchuck III is a 136 foot passenger and freight vessel providing service through historic Nootka Sound, Esperanza and Kyuquot Sound. Choose from a selection of trips which run on different days of the week such as:

FANTASEA CHARTERS

The FANTASEA has two FISHING packages to offer, including Salmon Fishing. 5 hour and a 8 hour Fishing Charter. Everything you will need is on board. Licenses, tackle and music. Warm environment. Great for wives and kids. Lounge on our upper deck between bites. We can accommodate up to 20 people and fish up to 5 rods at a time. 
Vancouver Island has the largest population of resident KILLER WHALES any where in the world. We have three resident pods, 95 whales in total. The whales are most active in these waters during the Salmon spawning season from May to October. We are  proud to introduce you to these magnificent mammals. During your luxury Fishing Charter there is an onboard certified Naturalist who will be happy to answer any of your questions.

Tours around Victoria EACH WEEK for Winter Guests!

Yes, you will be transported with delight to many of the sightseeing places around Victoria. Fun and  social occasions that are interesting and informative. We also stop afterwards for a snack at a local cafe or pub.

You will get to meet other guests on our free sightseeing bus tours each week (mid January to mid March), at games events, at our movie evenings and sing-song nights in the lounge. Friendships are made which carry over to games of bridge or crib, or doing other things together.

Winter guests usually reserve a year or more in advance, but there are always some  Kitchen units available during January, February or March.  Call us, or drop us an email and we'll be in touch with you right away with some options.

Tours will appeal to the non-endurance paddler who appreciates the added convenience and safety of a kayak mothership Our support vessel is a unique 47-foot cedar strip Canoe equipped for sailing, paddling and motoring. This giant canoe enables us to take along non-paddlers. Tours offered from our Victoria base, range from the Canadian Gulf Islands to Johnson Strait. We also organize self- guided tours for those who would prefer to explore on their own. Al Lubkowski , the Tour Operator and builder of this  Giant canoe, is an experienced naturalist and kayaker whose breadth of knowledge spans West Coast native history, marine wildlife and ocean ecology. Al is also a sailor, and navigator, with blue water experience gained sailing in Atlantic and coastal waters.
